Truth for Today Baptist Missions
A ministry of Fellowship Baptist Church in East Ridge, Tennessee.
After pastoring for many years, Dr. Bob Henson, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church in East Ridge, Tennessee became increasingly burdened to see more churches planted in the United States and around the world.
Several pastors in the area also shared this burden. In 1988 Truth for Today Baptist Misisons was organized under Dr. Henson’s ministry.
Due to failing health, Dr. Henson turned the ministry over to the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Rossville, Georgia. Later, the board moved to the Victory Baptist Church in the same city, where it continued its ministry under the guidance and watchcare of Pastor Dr. Ernest Groce.
In January of 2010, Truth for Today Baptist Missions moved back home to the Fellowship Baptist Church in East Ridge, Tennessee.
For the past 25 years, we have seen God’s blessings on this ministry. Churches have been established and strengthened in the United States. Churches have also been planted in other countries around the world.
Truth for Today Baptist Missions is a local church ministry, under the direction of Pastor Chris Peponis. The mission board office is is located within the facility of the church. Missionaries Doug and Elly Cooper are in charge of the day to day operations of the board.
